Skills Transformation (Mind Cafe Medan )

Hello CoffeeLovers :)

It's been awhile since i update my latest post.
Thesis deadlines are killing me, but this blog still have a serious commitment from his Master :) LOL

Anyway, This time i wanted to talk about skill transformation. Which is you can see (like this blog). I can write, draw, making photos by surfing on photography skills. It's like two birds with one stone. I'm not trying to make pride to it, but somehow i felt joy because i can do the exact things i love and it's all encapsulated in this single blog. :)

There's a regulation to check if you want to play though.

You have at least ordered food so you can play it for free

or

you can order just drinks but they will charge you about IDR 7.000 per player and per hour

Carimali Espresso Machine. Great cafes are still using this as their heart in a coffee shop.

It's a great high-volume cafe. One of the cafe that uses this machine is The Black Canyon cafe.

The Food and Beverages are superb. And it's a cool place to hang out because there's board games you can play. Enough with those video games and iPods. These games are way cooller than anything.

Espresso Addict (Rocco Coffee and Snacks)

Well, CoffeeLovers :) . How have you been ?

I often was asked, how many espresso shots that you consume a day.

It depends. Somehow if i feel tired, i'm going to a coffee shop and buy regular size coffee.

If i'm not tired i will go to a coffee shop and buy espresso too.

It's just the sizes, wether i chose to buy brewed coffee, or a single shot. 

But, i realized that i'm not that kind of addict. I'm not a Coffee Morning person. I drink milk every morning, sometimes caffeine, i just don't want to become that coffee addict. Even if i love coffee so much, i made a limit for it.

Okay then. Since i have a Blog Mascot now. I'll go check him and go ask him if he can help me with a good blog post.

I interviewed Mbak Theresia (The PR and Marketing) and according to her, she believed an ancient FengShui that a place that resembles like pockets brings good luck and blessings

A really nice Saeco Royal . Mas Alfonso (The bartender) give me permission to check out this awesome Espresso Machine.

Saeco Royal is a great Fully Automatic machine. And its capability in Coffee Shops is beyond doubt

ESPRESSO JUDGMENT

This was a good shot. But a thin crema. I merely guess the extraction time and it was 2 seconds close.

It's not bad after all, altough it's extracted under 25. The Taste still covers it. Aftertaste are winey.

it will be good if extracted under 25 seconds :)

By the way, it was a great shot

Recommended espresso. Recommended Cafe, and great place to chat since the cozyness of the place makes a good score.

"Barista the Manga" (The Edge, Medan )

Hey there CoffeeLovers :)

Today i want to talk about Manga.

Yup. the first manga what ever publish in this earth is "Astro Boy". Remember? A robot kid who tries to save the world using his prototype powers. Ozamu Tesuka is a brilliant artist who brought this scy-fy genre manga up a level. And then all the manga artisans like Eichiro Oda, Fujiko F Fujio, Masashi Kishimoto, make up their own dreams and set sail in a Manga World.

Talking about Manga. I know a good one. A Coffee related manga

This is A coffee related manga. A Story about .... Nah, you read it. It's a great story about coffee making skills and others. About passion of perfection is more precise.

You should read it. I know a good skills, about coffee making skills just by reading it.

Today we found a good place in the outskirts of Medan.

The Edge. Grand Swiss-Belhotel,  Lt.27 Jln. Letjend S.Parman No.217, Medan

I couldn't got a snapshot inside of the Bar, because there was lack of lights and i couldn't got a nicequality pictures

But the outdoor part, this is just heaven. A lovely view

This place is relaxing. If you're just in time, you'll see a beautiful sunset in the outskirts

I saw them using the Saeco Royal Machine

A thick Milk-like Crema, Full bodied. Richful. But Taste Flat. Although there's a fruit-like in the aftertaste.
